The belt on our Craftsman riding mower broke in the middle of mowing. We called a local Sears and they told us that they didn't have the belt available but could order one and it would take 10 days just to get it in. I looked online and found this belt which we received in 4 days at half the cost. It has been working great. Thanks to the great service of this seller we were up and riding in no time!

I ordered this belt on Friday and got it in the mail of Monday. It appeared to be of better quality than the original and fit perfectly. The price including shipping was $25 less than the OEM part for my Craftsman mower. Sure glad I shopped online before buying!

Its been a few months since I bought this so i do not remeber what the belt cost was at Sears but I know its was a lot more. So much more I wasn't too confident this belt could be right. But it was and has been running my mower ever since.

Put belt on my 42" deck craftsman rider during mid summer 2009 --went on well. Belt broke late June 2010. I have a 1/4 acre yard that gets mowed about once a week during the upstate NY mowing season. Simply did not last. I ordered a slightly more expensive belt 174883 Replacement belt made to FSP specs. For Craftsman, Poulan, Husqvarna, Wizard, more. from same amazon partner vendor & hopefully I'll have better luck. If I don't get at least a couple seasons on my next belt, than the savings not worth it & I'll reluctantly pay the big money at sears.

You get what you pay for is always true... YES this belt is cheaper, but my OEM belt lasted 5 years on my mower, this belt replacement that I purchased fit great but only lasted a couple months. It is not equal to the OEM, it cracked and rotted. It is not fun replacing belts, so my advice is get the good belt and do it once every 5 years instead of once every 4 months.
